Yep. HaloBCA lg gak ada orangnya. Udah 2 minggu lebih gw teleponin. Dari jam 9 pagi sampe 1 malam. No answer.

Karyawan di BCA cabang pembantu aja ikut bingung kok sibuk terus.

Gw sih gak ngebet banget keperluannya, jadi sambil iseng aja gw teleponin. Tp bayangin dong nasabah yang punya keperluan penting dan terburu-buru, misalnya ingin memblokir kartu kredit yang hilang. Walah… Halo… BCA…

Found an excellent tutorial / presentation about how to design a web layout. Setelah muter2 nyari artikel yang ngejelasin ttg "where to start when designing web pages", gw menemukan satu presentation yang top banget. Judulnya: "grids are good". Penyusunnya namanya Khoi Vinh. Dia design director utk NYTimes online.

Presentation ini ngajarin kita gimana menyusun elemen2 dalam web page, how to make them better structured, look proportional and usable. Dibeberkan secara scientific, bukan cuma trial and error. Something I am definitely needing, having no talent in art n design, lol.

Dalam presentasi ini, Khoi me-makeover homepage Yahoo. Hasilnya..? keren. nuff said.

Almost three years ago i took a psychological quiz on fs’ buletin board just for fun [yea.. college time is just so kurang kerjaan :p].

It has around 5 questions, but one in particular really sticks. I think the result is pretty accurate. Let’s try it :D.

It asks you to put a list of five animals in any order you like. The animals are:

• tigers
• cows
• pigs
• horses
• goats

u done? Kay, let’s see what the quiz says they represent:

• tigers - pride
• cows - work/career
• pigs - money
• horses - family
• goats - love

Apparently, at that time, i listed them in this order: cows, horses, tigers, pigs, goats

and, it was EXACTLY how i put all those aspects in my life at that time. It’s funny.

My friend put tigers, pigs, goats, horses and cows. And that’s how her life been shaping up.

The thing is, how did these animals get their association? Will these association differ across age, gender, or culture? And, not like quizzes in general, the result is not obvious, at least for me :p.

I don’t know about others, but my results will vary every now and then, despite my ‘knowing’ about the animals’ associations.

I like to get into mood, and retake the test once in a while to assess how my life balances. it’s always nice to know how the hell do i always put ‘goats’ last, lol.
